The month of July is Disability Pride Month and is an opportunity to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Disability Pride Month was established in July because it marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Active participation in creating a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for all faculty and staff at UCSF is one way to celebrate this month.
